EURAC is a private non-profit organization for advanced research and education, located in Bolzano, Italy. Founded in 1992, EURAC is composed of eleven institutes pertaining four distinct areas of research: Technologies, Autonomies, Mountains, and Health. Through an interdisciplinary approach, EURAC’s research teams promote sustainable development plans through the use of renewable energy sources, the protection of minorities and of multilingualism, the investigation of climate change, and contribution to the general health of the community by advanced biomedical research.
