The final version of the Hotmaps heating and cooling (H&C) planning toolbox is now available

We have just released an updated version of the Hotmaps brochure!

Last week, we held the final conference of the Hotmaps project “Heating and cooling planning for greener cities: local resources first”.

On 9th and 10th December, the first Hotmaps training took place in Bolzano, Italy. The training was organised in the framework of EURAC’s 3rd International Conference on Smart & Sustainable Planning for Cities and Regions (SSPCR).

During the next EU Sutainable Energy Week – on June 20th at 11 a.m. – we will present how Hotmaps supported/is supporting the development of local energy strategy in 7 different areas.

The Hotmaps software beta version is now available! This tool allows users to browse through a European map and retrieve information on space heating and hot water demand, CO2 emissions as well as potentials for renewable supply like biomass and solar energy on a spatially disaggregated level.
